Costa Rica · 2007
Brittany arrived in Costa Rica as a last-minute replacement representing Canada. Among approximately 30 competitors—and several years younger than the next-youngest contestant—she placed third overall and received Miss Congeniality.
The experience became an early lesson in entering unfamiliar rooms with confidence, earning trust quickly, and finding common ground across cultures.
Famagusta · c. 2012 / Canada · 2013
Around 2012, Brittany represented Canada at an international competition in Famagusta, Cyprus. In 2013, she competed in Miss Universe Canada while simultaneously attending university full-time and working full-time.
The pageant was never her only focus. It unfolded alongside the education, career-building, and personal drive that were already shaping her future. What endured were the relationships—and a natural ability to connect with people in every room she entered.
Ride Through the Rockies · 2023
While working for Schneider Electric, Brittany took part in Ride Through the Rockies through Qualico and Star Building Supplies, helping raise thousands of dollars for Habitat for Humanity in Calgary, Alberta.
Brittany grew up in Saskatchewan, where open horizons, practical resilience, and a strong sense of community shaped how she sees opportunity. That western-Canadian grounding still anchors every relationship and every move.
When another delegate could not attend an international pageant in Costa Rica, Brittany stepped in as Miss Teen Canada. Four to five years younger than the next competitor in a field of roughly 30 young women, she finished third and was named Miss Congeniality—early proof that courage, adaptability, and genuine connection could carry her onto a global stage.
Around 2012, Brittany represented Canada at an international competition in Famagusta, Cyprus. She later competed in Miss Universe Canada in 2013 while attending university full-time and working full-time. Pageantry was not her central focus in that season; it was one part of an already demanding life shaped by ambition, work, and education.
Brittany gave up a scholarship for the chance to nanny in Africa. It was an unconventional decision that widened her perspective and reinforced a lifelong instinct: meaningful growth often starts beyond the obvious route.
Back in Canada, Brittany built a standout career in payment systems, becoming a leading national performer while working across relationships involving RBC and BMO. She learned how trust, timing, and execution turn introductions into results.
As Western Canadian Residential Business Development lead for Schneider Electric, Brittany worked at the intersection of commercial growth, relationships, and the infrastructure people rely on every day.
Left Field brings those chapters together: global perspective, commercial instinct, relationship-building, and the confidence to pursue the opportunity others may not see yet.
